What happens during and after the check-in process?

Each pet type is treated differently. For example, up on arrival, all dogs are immediately let out of their kennel for a walk or bathroom break. Cats and other pets, on the other hand remain in their kennels until the check-in process has completed. Post the check-in process, all pets are kept in the animal holding room at the cargo building which is thoroughly climate-controlled and richly secure, waited by trained airline staff.
