Will my pet be fed prior to the flight?

Your pet is off to an adventure and we are here to take care of every little element to make this a smooth experience. When it comes to feeding them pre-journey, less is more. We recommend to feed your pet a minimum of 2 – 3 hours prior the pickup and the quantity to not exceed 70% of his/her usual capacity, irrespective of how long the flight is. This gives your pet enough time to digest their food and hopefully pee and poop before going into their travel crate.

It is pivotal to ensure that your pet isn’t overfed before their flight and we also do recommend taking your pet for a walk right before collection, to ensure their stomachs are emptied i.e. have pooped – these precautionary measures are necessary to avoid them having an upset stomach/travel sickness right before or during the flight.

Upon your pet’s collection, please handover a zip lock bag with a max of 2 food servings to the handler so it can be attached to your pet’s crate and fed, in case of a flight delay. Do bear in mind that wet food isn’t permitted on any airline along with the fact that pets aren’t fed during the flight with the exception of if there are layovers, comfort stops or delays in the ETA.
